Eldorado Canyon and the Techatticup Mine are just.... quirky. We love exploring this unique place!

Where else could you see a mine, a plane crash and a bedroom full of aliens on the same day?

Like I said.... quirky.

Our favorite part is the mine tour. It's the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada. We loved hearing the ghost stories and the history of the mine. 

After exploring the mine we headed down the road about two miles and had lunch on a rock, overlooking the Colorado River. 

It was a perfectly quirky day. Weird, but in a good way.
