kyler's buckaroo rodeo birthday party

Every summer we go see my family in Star Valley, Wyoming. Its one of our favorite places in the world. We decided to have Kai's ninth birthday party while we were there. What better place to have a buckaroo rodeo party than in Wyoming! The inspiration for the party came from the amazing paper products by Loralee Lewis.

The first event at the RODEO was the Saddle Bronc Riding at Papa's farm. The cows at my Dad's farm were going crazy while we were riding horses.  They were showing us how cool they were by bucking, running and snorting at us.  They got bored after about ten minutes though.  It was a true RODEO for awhile. — The cows at my Dad's farm were going crazy while we were riding horses. I am still so obsessed with this horse cake stand and isn't this cake topper the cutest?  It is from BetterOffWed.  It was originally gold and I used it for my daughters birthday party.  I just spray painted it red to match Kyler's pa… — I am still so obsessed with this horse cake stand and isn't this cake topper the cutest? It kept breaking on me. Haha. Kyler still LOVED the cake and thats all that matters.

After riding horses we all went back to Nana and Papa's to finish out the RODEO.

Barrel Racing was a huge hit! I purchased these blowup horses on Amazon.  The barrels are logs from my dads wood shed.  Watching the kids do this was hilarious.  It was my favorite part of the party. Kyler got a BB Gun for his birthday.  I love all the cute concentration faces from the kids.  Target practice was Kai's favorite part of the Buckaroo Rodeo. — Kyler got a BB Gun for his birthday. He loved adding a few more horses to his collection.
